My little Cochon.

I recived a letter from Marie-Grace, and she reminded me that I had left Cochon back in New Orleans!
She said that Maman was sending Grand-pere on a train to my new home, and that he would bring Cochon.
She also said that mon petit Cochon and Grand-pere will not arrive for awhile, so I shouldn't get excited just yet.

I will write to Maman, Armand, Rene, Tante Tay, Ellen, Grand-pere, and my father soon, to let them know that I am well and settled, and I have some new friends, as well as merci for the letter.

Au revoir!

-Cece

Je suis arrivé! It is me, Cecile! I have arrived!

Here is my story:
Marie-Grace (MG) is sick, and so I would always stay with her in the hospital back home. I would tell her how much i wanted to visit Lanie and her family, so Maman and MG got me a train ticket to arrive there on Christmas Day.
I had delicious beignets for breakfast on Christmas!
Au revoir!

 Hey! It's KK!
Cecile wrote us, wanting us to tell you about her and Marie-Grace's french lessons
"We are working on saving up money to get a, well, do you call it a video camera? They're too new for us. We will film ourselves, saying french words, and then forming a sentence, edit it with a 'computer', and 'upload it onto the Internet'. If you could help us make that possible, we would greatly appreciate it.
  Merci,
Cecile

  Dear Ms. Lanie Holland,
I am sorry that we could not visit you. Marie-Grace is sick, and I couldn't dream of going somewhere without her. She has the flu, and will not get better before Thanksgiving. I will be with her all the time, just to be sure that nothing more serious occurs.
Please continue with the letters. Marie-Grace and I would love to hear from you often. Marie-Grace is also very sorry that our visit got delayed, and hopes to make it up to you before next year. Enclosed in this letter is a recipe for Marie-Grace's favorite dish- biegnets.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
  Sincerely yours,
      Cécile
